Return to spotlights listing.

Name: Pallor

Moniker: Pallor

Sex: F

Country of Residence: USA

Favorite Games: Anything that involves bleeding and kicking ass. The Halo Series, The Myth Series, The Marathon Series, The Silent Hill Series, The Diablo Series, The Warcraft Series, Starcraft, The Onimusha Series, The Grand Theft Auto Series, The NHL Series, and Planetarion (web based). I must confess Hunt the Wumpus and Thrill Kill, while not widely accepted, are vices of mine.

Gaming Roles: I started playing video games in Kindergarten. I would beg my parents to allow me to go to the local drug store so I could play Pac-Man. Armed with a milk crate to stand on and a fistful of quarters, I would beat those ghosts into submission and gobble a few cherries. That of course, was the start of something a bit larger. In college, I was an avid Marathon Player and when Bungie released Myth: The Fallen Lords I fell right in line. I quickly earned a place among the most hated on - wallowing in the cesspool of hard core ranked play (BC Trow). I hosted officially sponsored tournaments, assisted with Tech Support Online time, maintained a top 10 player status and order ranking and eventually became the first female and the first ranked admin for (Myth and Myth 2). Post college, I have been gaming with a select number of friends on other online gaming servers.

Gaming Rig(s) : A 900mhz ibook with 384 MB RAM, PS2 and a Quasi-In-Rem Xbox, Gamecube and various hand held gaming devices.

Gaming Groups / Squads / Clans: My gaming orders have changed over the years. I started Myth with TF20, continued to 4dc and finished with LofG. I have played for the DG and gtm orders as well. I was in Pax Nimbus for a brief stint in the pre-Halo period. Currently, I am associated with the Subnova Gaming Group - more specifically the Legion of Minions (a subgroup).

Favorite Sites: Subnova (, HBO (, CNN Law ( and The Onion ( and of course my personal website (

Hobbies / Activities: I am currently a State Probation and Parole Officer II working under a death penalty Judge in Criminal Court. I manage over 100+ violent convicted felons and high profile cases. In the Fall of 2003, I will be starting Law School to pursue a career in Public Interest Law, specifically criminal prosecution. Before crossing the thin blue line, I was a marketing manager at a technology company. I attended Belmont University in Nashville TN and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Marketing. While in college, I maintained my university's webservers and built their complete website. Prior to that, I was a nationally ranked figure skater and was State ranked for track and field. At the earliest, I was a cell existing inside of my mother and a twinkle in my father's eye.

I spent time as a child in Iceland and Europe. Due to those experiences, I spend a lot of time traveling around the country to visit family and friends. I can usually be found reading legal scholarship books and philosophy discourses for fun or discussing the death penalty ad nauseam. During the Fall and Winter I am the diehard NHL hockey fan - nothing comes between me and my hockey. When I am not screaming for tripping calls and high sticking, I am watching and attending NFL Football games - specifically the Tennessee Titans. On special days, I break out the anime and let loose the dogs of my closet Japan fandom. I am guilty of owning PVC clothes ( and spending lots of time and money at Sephora and Nordstroms. Some people would claim that writing scathing smackdowns of forumites was also a favorite activity of mine - I am inclined to agree. My most relaxing activity is to watch political commentary shows with Bugger The Cat and Jaime.

Accomplishments / Achievements: If you want to know your past, look into your present conditions. If you want to know your future, look into your present actions. - Buddhist Saying

Blurb: Lex Talionis. "The life of the law has not been logic; it has been reason." - Oliver Wendell Holmes, "When reason fails, the devil helps!" - Fyodor Dostoevsky, Crime and Punishment Part I, Ch.6, 65.
