Name: Mark Levin
Moniker: Count Zero
Country of Residence: United States
Favourite Games: The Marathon series. Although I'm playing a lot of Diablo II with a group of friends right now.
Gaming Roles: Player I'm trying to get that changed to Developer, but apparently to break into the game industry you need to either build up a lot of experience or find a current developer and kill him, so that's taking a while.
Gaming Rig(s): Power Mac G4/933 with Radeon 9800 for playing Marathon and games I'm working on, Xbox for everything else.
Gaming Groups/Squads/Clans: Ad-hoc Subnova gaming groups, perpetual hitchhiker to HBO Junkies lanparties and other tri-state area events.
Favourite Sites: I've read Slashdot long enough to have a three-digit user ID. Macintosh news comes from a mixture of Accelerate your Mac and Mac OS Rumors. Subnova has a bit of everything. And for laughs, I read Something Awful, The Conversatron, a large collection of rarely-updated webcomics, and Halo Babies. Maybe if Mhaddy doesn't notice I can sneak in a plug for the closest thing I have to my own webcomic. I noticed. -Editor
Hobbies / Activities: As above, I'm an aspiring developer, so I do a lot of coding and playing games... um. Activities that don't make me look like a total nerd? Walking around the capital of the world, New York City. Reading books; I'm currently working through a collection of imported Banks but my favorite author is William Gibso- aw, heck. I'm a nerd and I'm proud of it.
Accomplishments / Achievements: At this point in my life, most of my achievements have been academic, culminating in graduation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign last year. Aside from that, I've released some moderately successful freeware/shareware programs (try putting my real name into VersionTracker; don't bother with Google. Too many other Mark Levins out there .) I've been involved in the Bungie community since about 1996. I made 2 Marathon scenarios, only one of which anyone paid any attention to, and contributed some features to Aleph One. I've answered HBO's email for three years without going on a killing spree.
