Spotlight:

Tony 'Rams' Coons
Name: Tony Coons

Email: Ramsxxxiv@3dactionplanet.com

Moniker: Rams

Sex: Couple times a month

Country of Residence: US

Education: Currently enrolled in college

Favorite Games: Halo, Perfect Dark, Golden Eye, Mario Cart, NFL & NHL sports games, etc...

Gaming Roles: Road kill. I guess someone has to be the poor fool running around getting shot and in online Halo that's my role. Outside of that I am generally more of a strategic gamer, like to take my time and not get my head shot off.

Gaming Rig(s): Well I have a 3 year old PC that strains under the resource hog that is Solitaire. I also have an Xbox, PS2, Gamecube, Dreamcast, PS1, N64, SNES, Sega Saturn, Sega Genesis, and the NES.

Gaming Groups / Squads / Clans: Well I tried out for the 67th Raptors once but never heard back. Not sure but I think the fact that I managed to run myself over ruined my chances.

Favorite Sites: Fark, ESPN, Tech TV, TSN, Penny Arcade.

On the Halo front I visit HBO, The Junkyard, Gearbox, Bungie.net, Rampancy.net, oh yeah and Battleground: Halo my home sweet home.

Hobbies / Activities: I am a big sport fanatic, mainly Football (Go Rams!!) and Hockey (Go Blues!!) although I watch the Cardinals (Baseball) sometimes. I used to play Hockey and wasn't too bad but have given it up in the past few years. When I'm not involved in sports, gaming, school work, or my social life I work on BGH doing a bit of everything. Other then that I am addicted to porn, alcohol, and those little mini sausages although I don't know if any of those constitute Hobbies / Activities... more along the lines of interests which should be a part of this category but oddly is isn't... did I mention I'm prone to rambling?

Accomplishments / Achievements: In my personal life earning a scholarship (I bribed my english teachers) is certainly one. Getting up the nerves to propose to my long time girlfriend, even though we didn't make it to the next step, is another. I have also won various academic and athletic awards/honors but nothing worth mention.

Halo wise it acquiring and then resurrecting BGH, along with our tremendous staff. Before taking over BGH it was averaging 12-18 members/visitors online at one time and raised it to 70-90 in just over a year and a half. We are also the 4th most active site on the vast Gamespy network and moving up. Don't mean to brag but when you spend a year and a half working toward a goal it's a grood feeling to see it start to happen.

Blurb: Whatever is on my mind? You may be here awhile. Nah, I'll be nice and keep it short. I will just say I feel very honored to be a part of such a great community. Halo may just be a game but it has had a big impact and a very positive one at that, Bungie should be proud. I also feel very privileged to be in a position to contribute (in a small way) to that community through my news posts and bi-monthly column (Rams Report). I, and everyone in a similar position, give of my time not just because Halo's a great game but because Halo fans are such great people. The one's I have met through BGH and my job there are for the most part incredible. I have been at this for over a year yet it is still as exciting as when I started inpart due to the wonderful people I work with at BGH. What makes a game great? When it not only entertains you but also has animpact on your life.

Well that covers my ass kissing for the rest of year now it's off to the strip club, Mmmmm little mini sausages :D
