Hunters stand 12' tall, though in their combat state they contract to approximately eight feet. Hunters fight with a fuel rod gun integrated directly into their armor. They carry an enormous shield made of an unknown alloy, which they sometimes use as a melee weapon.

Bad hombres. Hunters are the classic "HOLY - WHAT IS THAT?" creature, and you'll certainly know when you're fighting one, if only because they usually show up when everybody else is dead and accompanied by dramatic music. Mostly, they either shoot you with their massive fuel rod gun (the same weapon as is mounted on Banshees), or smack you with their shields (dealing tremendous damage). A noted strategy, show in this image below, is to shoot a Hunter in the back (or stomach) with a pistol, or sniper rifle. To sum it up, the bigger they are, the harder they fall.
