I'm broke, but have a hungry mind and am willing to do hard work! How can you help?

Dave 'Fargo' Kosak: Most websites have contact info right on the front page somewhere. Send them samples of your work. Don't have any work to show yet? Then just do stuff on your own. Create a portfolio. Work in your spare time. Demonstrate your abilities!

Frans P. de Vries: Uhm, borrow and read a book? ;) I'm not sure what the question is about, or how it differs from the next one :).

Adam 'Barak' Perfect: I can't - I'm broke too lol. As I said above, if you offer your help to a site you can work your way up and you'll get noticed. About two weeks after Haloplayers was launched I got an email from a gaming network (which I won't name) to take over their new Halo site. Unfortunately they wanted me to sell out my friends and steal all of Haloplayers' content so I said no but you get the idea ;).

Anthony 'Rayn' Maio: It is my unfortunate observation that most folks who have told me that they are willing to do hard work really aren't. I'll make the assumption that this question is genuine though :) My best advice is that if you are willing to work and develop content, come get hosted with us and develop your own site. I should note that we only accept hosted sites that have some content to show us already. The best way to show that you are willing to do hard work is through action.

Brian Clair: I can't. :)

John 'Rizzuh' Jensen: Just use it!! It's not that tough. Add features here and there, write map strats, etc. You're not going to have a huge impact as one of 50 news writers, but content authors are HIGHLY valuable in this industry.

Louis Wu: lol - by telling you to find work somewhere else. ;) We're always looking for able-bodied helpers... but we can't pay anything; it's mainly for the love of the game, here... and the love of the company (Bungie).

Rob 'Keltic' Shea: We’ll I can’t help you with the broke part, but I can feed your hungry mind. :)

Tyler 'TySoft' Lott: Uhrm, hrm, I’ve got a goat that needs training lessons. ;)

Joscha 'fraGGle' Dzielak: I can't help! :) You can help me by supporting my site, writing news, writing columns, uploading files, and so on. Then you will learn how the things work and I promise you that you will get more and more ideas what you can do on a site and at this point I will tell you: "okay...great idea but I don't have the time to code this stuff. Wait 5 months or learn it by yourself!". (Okay...I am not this hard but it sounds good what I write here ;)). Okay. Then you start by downloading a freeware editor and start writing one "Hello World!"-script after the other. When you wrote your one-hundredth "Hello World!"-script you hate it and you will ask me for help. Then it's my part again to help you showing how to develope scripts, design databases and so on.

Matt 'Acrappa' Martinez: I can't.

Ben 'Hypn0tik' Tamler: 42 21 6 34 12 32 06 - those are my lotto predictions. Hope it helps!

Manveer 'Eidolon' Heir: Ok, you see that guy standing on the corner of the street? No not that one, the one in the suit next to him with the black hair. Yeah, he is lonely -- why don't you go over there and "keep him company". I guarantee he will be appreciative of it, and you will get some major loot -- what? You said you wanted to do hard work!
