Faced with a critical shortage of military hardware, Martian technicians took a cargo-loader frame and retro fitted it to military use. As a result, the Emancipator chassis is extremely durable. Although it still lacks sufficient hard points for mounting weaponry, its ability to house a large sized reactor and top speed make it perfect for reconnaissance missions.
