The speed pack is a completely new addition to the Tribes' pack family. When in passive mode, the average walking speed is increased. While this may not seem like a big deal, if you can walk faster, then you can therefore ski faster which can make a big difference in the battlefield. When activated, the pack provides a significant increase in the weapons reloading rate which therefore allows you to fire more projectiles in less time. The effect lasts for 5 seconds and takes 6 seconds to recharge.
