A new item to the Tribes universe, the Catapult applies a slight increase of speed in the direction a player is moving. Unlike a jump pad, the catapult does not launch you in the air but simply increases your speed by a fixed amount. The catapult is not team specific, meaning that cappers and chasers alike could use it, and it does not work on vehicles or deployables.
