Tribes: Vengeance has three class types much like its two predecessors, but with several important changes. The light class armor is lighter than the original, the middle class armor is closer to the past light armors, and the heavy class armor is bulkier and heavier than the past heavies.

Throughout the twists and turns that is the Tribes: Vengeance single player, a slew of characters good and bad are revealed. Some characters are playable while others are just there to develop the story but all have histories, motives, and futures of their own. A brief description of all main characters can be seen below.
