It seems IBM has developeda carbon-nanotube transistor that is apparently outperform current silicon-based transistors. News.com has more info. The New York Times discusses CNFET, and Applied Physics Papers has a white paper on the technology. Bye-bye CMOS! (Thanks to Falcon for pointing out the Yahoo! news article.)

CNN is reporting that Sony is going to release the specs on the popular Aibo AI pet.

eWeek reports that a top Micro$oft exec is saying that come of the code in windows is so flawed that it cannot be released to the public without posing serious security risks. I was right.

The KaZaA network has been hit by a worm called "Benjamin".

But coolest of all is the motor made from a single strand of DNA.

WARNING: Some of these prices may shock you, leave you breathless, make you sick, get out your wallet, or something else dangerous or drastic in some way. The Junkyard is not responsible for your actions.
