BBC reports that NASA has discovered water ice on Mars, pointing to the possibility of past life there. (In reality, life on Mars is impossible; the surface is far too cold to support any kind of life. Some scientists have propose din the past to warm the planet with "greenhouse gasses" such as CO2. Mars' atmosphere IS a "greenhouse gas".)

CNN reports that the Klez virus is running rampant with its eigth variant, Klez.H. Symantec has instructions on removal of the worm. As always, UPDATE YOUR ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE.

Some wise guy put a small VIA motherboard in his gutted Nintendo. It runs Windows XP. Whoopie.

Samsun develops DDR-II and Crucial is finally producing DDR-2700.

Intel has finally reduced the prices of its Pentium IV processors as much as 53%. Look at the price list here.

Turkey is regulating the Internet away to the extent that it will be impractical to have a website and dangerous to run an ISP.

8-inch nanotubes have been constructed, making this the longest a nanotube has ever been built.

Also, a paper on how to take over the internet is quite interesting.

And, a couple Israelis now own microsoft.com. 5w337. I want something like that, too.

Lastly, RocketGuy intends to ride a rocket soon. He's not suicidal, just really damn cool.
