New Designer Diary

IGN has posted up a new Designer Diary, this time featuring lead artist at Irrational Games Andrew James. Check it out:

I'll start with what the Art Team has been doing. Since we're approaching Alpha, most of the art for the game is now complete. The level assets, characters and weapons have been complete for some time. The vehicles are now complete and looking great. James has been working hard going over some older assets and bringing them up to snuff, and putting the finishing touches on the weapons. Brendan has been working on finishing the water, vehicle and pack effects.

The cut scenes have been completed to 2nd pass standard and are now getting lip-sync, facial expressions and final animation tweaks. We now have the final dialogue in, and I really think they are going to blow you away.
