A Two-Part Preview and some Screens

Last week, Gamespy put up the first two parts of an exclusive three-part series preview of Tribes:Vengeance. The first part took an indepth look at single player and the second part took care of multiplayer. Along with the write-ups are several new screens that I haven't seen before and are pretty snazzy looking. Here's a snip from the multiplayer write-up that pretty much sums things up:

As you can tell, much of the Tribes universe has stayed remained intact, but there have been a significant number of changes. The many tweaks, while minor, will require some re-acclimating for veterans. In the end, though, it's still all about Tribes-style fun, which certainly remains intact. As developer Irrational Games has said all along, it's trying to make the game more accessible while not losing the core audience; at this stage, it looks Irrational is well on its way to achieving that.
