We've all read the previews from the big sites, IGN, Gamespot, and Gamespy, to name a few. But, what about the average Tribes player? Celios, a casual T1 and competitive T2 player, wrote up his thoughts on the Tribes:Vengeance beta and posted it on TeamWarfare. Here's a snip:

Spawning:
Probably the best thing that has changed spawning-wise is the ability to select your spawn spot (want to be at the main base? Just takes one click. Wanna be dropped at the rover? You’re there.) Keep in mind however, that you don’t pick exactly where to spawn, only the spawnsphere. Regardless, this is already far more efficient than T1 and T2.

IFFs (Indicator Friendly/Foe):
In the latest patch, these have been changed back to the standard Green/Red rather than coloring based on ‘race’ (Imperial, Blood Eagle, etc.) It’s also important to note that the flag carrier no longer has a special waypoint and that all enemy IFFs will disappear if a sensor is disabled.
The write-up is very thorough, touching on many of the minor aspects of the game that some of the larger sites don't publish. It's one helluva read and is being continually updated as well (though the last update was July 26). In either event, check it out at TWL right here. Kudos to CaptainBiggs for the heads up.
