TRP\\SSU Turns Four

Our good friends over at TribesRoleplayers\\StarsiegeUniverse have turned four years old. ConfigSys.boy!, who we spotlighted back in November 2003, posted a blurb on TRP\\SSU that outlined this historical event:

Four years ago, as the TribesPlayers site lay dying and the last embers of life ebbed out of the TPBB a few intrepid fans of the Starsiege and Tribes Universe embarked on a crusade to establish a new community site devoted to that universe. It was envisioned as a place where fans of the rich tapestry underpinning this beloved franchise could come and find an atmosphere friendly to their fanatical devotion and encouraging to their penchant for roleplaying and fan-fiction pursuits.

Since that time we have seen a lot of changes here at TRP\\SSU. We've moved servers three times, changed domains once, and had our fair share of catastrophic outages. More importantly though we've expanded our focus to become more than just a haven for franchise fanatics, but also to be a living archive of the Universe; A constantly updated and edited encyclopedia cataloguing every epoch of the history of the Starsiege and Tribes franchises. It has been an arduous, seldom understood, and often trying journey but it has been worth every moment of it.
