FileFront Previews T:V

Spotted over at Blue's, FileFront has thrown up their own preview of Tribes:Vengeance. What sets this preview apart, however, is the fact that they compare T:V with a variety of other games on the market including, UT2004, Quake 3, and the Half Life series, in addition to providing the obligatory T:V overview. The Quake 3 Crowd (Quake 3 vs. T:V)
For those of you major Quake 3 junkies that whittle away your lives in Q3's Deathmatch or Capture the Flag modes, I can only suggest one thing: stay away from Tribes: Vengeance. T:V is nowhere near as fast-paced and violent/gritty as Quake 3 is, and as an old Quake 3 junkie myself, there were numerous parts of my body that were simply screaming "Dear Sweet Trent, quit playing! Every pixel we see makes us die a bit more!" throughout my T:V playing sessions.

In short, stay away Quake 3 addicts. Stay far, far away.
