Monday's Update: Halo 2 is Gold

As announced by SketchFactor on Bungie.net, this Monday's special Halo 2 Update contains three important elements: one, that all versions of Halo 2 have "gone gold" or have been Released to Manufacturing (RTM). The second item is a selection of quotes from Bungie staffers; and the third, wicked item? A video was promised on Friday, and Bungie's delivering. Follow the link to read and obtain!

Due to the undoubtedly high load that Bungie's servers will experience, it's best that if you want the video, that you wait for the official announcement from HBO of the creation of mirrors for the two versions. In addition, HBO and Mythica will also be creating BitTorrent seeds, as well as alternate resolution QuickTime versions of the videos. (Right now they're only available in Windows Media format.)

Update: Lots of mirrors, as well as Quicktime versions are now available, thanks to HBO.

Update: Brian of Mythica has posted a BitTorrent link for the high resolution file. You can grab the .torrent and get a copy faster that way -- I'll be contributing some seeding bandwidth to the cause myself.
