In IGN's 2004 Best Of awards, Tribes: Vengeance was left out of the celebrations by no means. Receiving two awards, "Best Story" and "Best Game No One Played," IGN knows exactly how to put it:

Tribes is an amazing series of games that just hasn't always gotten the credit it deserves... it's just too bad that this game didn't get the sales numbers that its quality deserves. This may mark the end of the Tribes series, but at least it went out with a bang.
