Here's a general roundup of all the Halo/Halo 2 news that's gone on for the past few days:

• retsamola has posted a video of himself embedded in Halo 2 on the HBO Forum. With the magic of Adobe After Effects, anyone with a green screen and a bit of skill can create their own scene where they're after those pesky Covenant.
  
• The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences has honoured Halo 2 with several awards. Thanks to HaloPlanet.
  
• Bungie's Store is having a clearance event of sorts. If you want to stock up on some Halo swag, now's your chance to do it for slightly cheaper.
  
• Tons of movies have gone up at HBO lately; specifically Ripp0n's Montage, an Xbox Connect Halo 1 skill video (use the BitTorrent link if you can); SirDougOfUsbek's creation of ridicule and tomfoolery when one of the party members falls asleep in a Live game; more Halo 2 movies and MLGPro's Zanzibar Tips.
