Vengeance Revamped

Against all odds, a one Rapher has been single handedly building up six classic gametypes for Tribes: Vengeance. Among the ranks are a remake of the ever so popular Tribes gametype LT, Arena++, Team Deathmatch, and Deathmatch. These four mods are nearing completion and almost ready for a public beta, so keep your eyes open for that. Two upcoming mods Rapher is working on include a complete Duel mod, and Team Rabbit. Rapher also mentions that he is interested in finding volunteer servers to host the current versions of several of these mods as form of open beta:

Many people have been hounding for releases, but I have been reluctant because I desired a highly polished release complete with all gametypes. I have changed my tune. The community is certainly not getting any larger, and I am fearful of waiting. I am willing to make a compromise. Instead of mass public release, I’d like to get some of the gametypes on a few select servers first. Think of this as a public beta. If you are a server admin, and are interested in hosting a gametype, please PM me in IRC with your server information, and the gametype(s) you desire to host. I’ll always be in #rapher in IRC, so feel free to drop in and say hey.
