Halo 1 and 2 on Xbox 360

There has been a lot of speculation regarding backwards-compatibility on the Xbox 360. With it recently being announced that the PS3 will fully support all PSX and PS2 games, and Nintendo's Revolution supporting Gamecube games and being able to download Nintendo's entire catalog of NES, SNES, and Nintendo 64 games (details), the question of Xbox 360's support is much desired. An article over at Gamasutra mentions that Xbox 360 will be backwards-compatible with select titles from Xbox, but more interestingly, an article at Newsday.com has confirmed news, from David Hufford, Xbox group product manager, that Halo 1 and Halo 2 will be amongst those select titles. Hurrah!
