Xbox 360 UK Release Date and Price

Computer and Video Games is reporting the first release date and price for the Xbox 360, albeit unconfirmed and in the UK. Play.com is listing Xbox 360 for an astounding £399, yes, pounds. The release date is slated for November 29, a little under six months away.

As CVG states, take this price and release date with a grain of salt, or rather, a "mountain of sodium". It has been stated in the past by Corporate Vice President and Chief XNA™ Architect, J Allard, that the 360 would be around $375 CDN, so over $900 CDN is a wee-bit overstated, I think. However, the November 29th release date is on par with what was previously ball-parked. Either way MS, a $900+tax console launch will not sit well with gamers - even if that $900 is a ball-park figure.
