A few news bits:

• New DOA4 screens (not magazine scans) that show off that female Spartan knocking fists
  
• All winners for the 2005 Rockets on Prisoner Awards have been announced, with a full [near] feature-length ceremony coming soon. Thanks HBO
  
• A couple of new Halo Babies strips have been posted.
  
• Weekly What's Update denotes over 50,000 Xbox Live accounts have been banhammered (wow), more details of Spartan 458, and a cool Hokusai print of Mister Chief.
  
• Team Hardcore is now in full-swing and a How to Stay Alive for More Than Ten Seconds in Team Hardcore doc is now up. Read it.
  
• Xbox.com and Xbox Live are currently down for 24 hours as the new site and service are launched. Preparations for Xbox 360 are also underway. Thanks R.Net.
  
• Major Nelson's blog has been updated with a preview of the Xbox 360's web integration (implementation of which partly responsible for why Xbox.com is down now).
