XBox 360 to be in short supply.

According to Gamasutra, a professional game development community, Microsoft will not be releasing the XBox 360 in volume. In fact, due to an apparent low volume in manufacturing, the XBox 360's retail sales are expected to ramp up slowly over the course of the coming year. As a side effect of the announcements, XBox sales are slipping and are expected to continue to fall.

It seems Microsoft is still taking a major loss on their home entertainment division, and they expect these losses to continue to increase.

Don't count on getting your new 'box this holiday season, but plan on there being some major shortages across North America.
