It's Beginning to Sound a lot Like Xmas...

In this week's (or rather, last week's) Bungie Weekly Update, we receive confirmation that the official Halo 2 soundtrack will go on sale "sometime" in the first quarter of 2006. There's also word that we may be seeing more Halo novels in the future -- no confirmation yet, just word that discussions have been taken place -- good news, regardless. Frankie then goes on a rant about idiots on Live and more complaints regarding the recent switch to ranked Team Snipers.

And on that note, I'm definitely not a fan of the switch. I don't have a problem with the games being ranked and fighting people of (now) somewhat equal skill to you, but it's the fact that you can't bring in guests anymore that irks me. Personally, I rarely play Halo 2 on my own -- it's only when my buddies come over and one of our favourite game types was Team Snipers -- and now this is something we can't enjoy anymore. *grumbles*
