Well, you knew Bungie was working on something special, and in the latest Weekly Update, Frankie reveals just that: The Halo Graphic Novel (HGN). Juicy details:

The HGN is a 128 page, full color, high quality hardcover graphic novel, featuring an anthology of original stories, including one big story, and three shorter tales. Side stories, if you will. It should be available in July, 2006.
Now while the idea was conceived by Bungie, they've hired some real talent to put the art together. You can check out some concept art and read more about in the update or swing by Marvel.com for their side of the story.
