For those of you curious as to why we haven't posted anything about Realm Wars since the end of June, well, that's because there hasn't been any news to report. However, given I am a little late in getting this up - recently, Jay Moore posted an update as to the status of the RW project.

The highlights include:

  • James Margaris has stepped down as lead designer, Logan Foster has taken his place.
  • A "core" development team has been appointed to take lead on the RW project. Community involvement is still requested, though on less critical aspects.
  • The core design of the project has been scaled back to a fantasy theme FPS game.
