Microsoft and IBM

Microsoft has announced that it has agreed to use IBM semiconductor technologies in its upcoming Xbox products. Currently the Xbox uses a 733 Mhz Intel CPU, and this could mean that the very secretive Xbox 2 will use an IBM processor. The IBM press release clearly states that IBM will "power future Xbox products," but IBM technologies could be used elsewhere in the Xbox 2 system.
