Halo PC Patch Roundup

We were a bit late out of the starting gate on this one, but what the heck. As we've previously reported, the 1.031 patch for Halo PC has long been available. But what about those users experiencing problems with their game, who are unable to update Halo without a standalone installer?

I've given the issue some thought, and here are the preferred two solutions at the moment:
1. Run the "haloupdate.exe" -- the file with the Legendary badge -- in your Halo folder. Usually this will be in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo; otherwise, just substitute in your Halo path for this location.
Running the haloupdate.exe triggers a manual search for any new patches; this does not require the game to be started.
2. Download the official 1.031 patch from tJY, or Microsoft's official server, now that it's been listed.

Although I highly recommend the first method in order to get your patches, rest assured that we will be more timely mirroring Microsoft's standalone executables, in order to reassure those who use us as a patching resource.
