Framerate from Battleground: Halo sends word that he has thrown up an interview with the leader of the Battlefield: 1942 Halo MOD: Homefront. The interview is short but informative and answers such questions as how the MOD came to be, where it's headed, and what sets it apart from Halo PC. Obligatory snippet:

What is the process that you went through to develop the mod? To be more specific, what steps did you go through in order to get from the beginning of the mod to the current release?

Oh boy well first things first. We concept the idea. Then I give it to the modeler. He models the vehicle/aircraft/building. Then it’s either given to the skinner or the person who modeled it skins it. Then it’s given to the coder. He exports the model into BF format. Then he codes it into the game, which usually takes 1-2 days. After a few things are coded we have a beta once a week. In these weekly betas we tweak out bugs and probs for next weeks beta. After that the beta went to the beta testers when we hit .09. They tested it on our big server and we worked out the bugs. After that we released the mod!
