Halo 2 Updates Commence

It's happening now. Frankie (Frank O'Connor) of Bungie Studios has graced the entire Halo community with the initiation of the first Halo 2 Update. For posterity and to let us look back when all's said and done, The Junkyard has created a new Articles section specifically for Halo 2 Updates. Go there right now to get all the latest on the development progress of Halo 2, or view the update for January 16, 2004.

In the past, various Halo fansites would receive these updates on a rotating basis. It's unknown whether a site other than HBO will have the updates posted there; in any event, as soon as we know about the newest update, we'll have it live here on The Junkyard for you to view and discuss. This week's update was posted to HBO's forum.

Update: My mistake. I neglected to read Frankie's Weekly Bungie Update post on Bungie.net in my rush to fully digest the actual update itself. It clearly explains that a new site will be chosen each week to receive the Halo updates. Bungie.net will also keep archived versions, available on the Monday after the post; updates will be done "every Friday(ish)".

So go read the newest update, and start getting psyched for Halo 2!
