Edgen: El Ghetto. An old Casio CT700 Midi keyboard with a SB Live platinum audio card still running on Windows 98. I'm surprised it even turns on!! Eventually I'll upgrade my system, but I guess if something ain't broke don't fix it. As of now, It seems to work for me. Of course, a little more computer power could help out tremendously. (I'm now taking private and angel funds Hint, hint) I would recommend searching the web for music forums, musicians forums on building your own system. Personally, I like to stay away from these places. Half the time those people (musicians) criticize you for your music and they can sometimes be really harsh in what they say about your work and that you should give up trying to make it in the industry because its so competitive. They may say you need more traditional training or learn the theory behind music. You just learn these theories just so you know when to break them anyway. I say make music that sounds good to you. "Pleasing everyone is like hitting a nail on the head. Some heads just happen to be smaller than others"

tJY: Do you think P2P file sharing has helped, hindered, or not affected you and your music?

SleepyBrightEyez: I don't think it has really affected my music.

Edgen: Heck ya!! How do you think "Trajan" (Jake) found me?? Someone… Somewhere… Downloaded some of my music and it found its way to his desk. Same goes with a lot of the other projects I'm currently working on. I say share the wealth and hopefully one day the benefits and those you've helped out along the way will remember you. It's amazing to see all the young filmmakers using my music and turning around a few months to a year later offering me money to score their next project. And all this because I let them use my music free of use for their first couple of projects. I like to say that I'd rather share my work with the world versus them just sitting on my HD collecting dust.

The whole gang!tJY: What do you feel distinguishes you from other artists in the same genre?

SleepyBrightEyez: Good question. I think my music has a certain underlining of creepiness and minimilism, regardless of wether it's an instrumental, guitar based, or electronic based track.

Edgen: I'm not quite sure really. Maybe because I don't come from a trained musical background and people hear and feel my work? Or maybe… just maybe… I'm just lucky. :)

tJY: Do you have anything else that you'd like to say?

SleepyBrightEyez: I really appreciate the support the Junkyard has given us!

Edgen: I've used both a MAC and a PC so please don't give me that crap that a MAC is better. Why? Because I like to say, "If you know how to use a pencil to draw, you can draw anything. Now, apply that to everything in life." – Edgen (some pencils are just sharper than others)

tJY: Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions guys!

Edgen: No problemo! Glad I could help and if you want to hire the ss:2845 crew for your next multi billion dollar gaming project… You've got yourself one kick arse Team!!
