Spotlight:

Matt 'Viper' Anderson
Name: Matt Anderson

Email: RaptorV22@hotmail.com

Moniker: Viper

Sex: Male

Country of Residence: My underwater volcano lair… In space!!

Education: Currently in high school.

Favourite Games: Halo (consol and PC), Freespace 2, Asheron’s Call 2, Pac-Man. I also like to roleplay as a plumber when I visit my goats…

Gaming Roles: Playa’, Yo! I’m usually a sort of special ops guy! I like to use stealth. Or I serve as strategist and tactician. Sometimes I like to confuse and bewilder my opponent by shouting random comments, or making crude sexual references about the opponent’s mothers. Or lead my clan into battle against uncircumcised gentiles, whom God himself has sent me to destroy or convert to TETSUOism!

Gaming Rig(s): I have an X-Box (Hiel!), Playstation 2, NES, GBA SP, and my lovely computer which sports a nifty Radeon 9800 Pro.

Gaming Groups / Squads / Clans: Leader of the largest Halo PC clan, the 67th Raptors, which has been around since I made it in ’98. Its fault through a lot of games, and it was the first registered Halo 2 clan. The site is http://www.67thRaptors.tk.

Favourite Sites: Well, of course Battleground: Halo. I’m also known to visit Penny-Arcade every chance I get, along with Fark and Slashdot. Oh, and I suppose I can’t leave out that oh-so-amusing Red Vs. Blue. Long live Caboose!

Hobbies / Activities: Love to write, draw, and annoy Rixor.

Accomplishments / Achievements: As I said, I’m leader of a great clan. I’ve also managed to get accepted onto BG:H staff which I’m very happy about. As for real life, I’m on the Varsity Swim Team at my highschool with a couple of school records and a state record. I’m also very proud of being close to achieving Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts of America.

Blurb: When I was a wee lad, a wise monk once said to me, “My lasagna burns with sparkles.” Or at last I think that’s what he said; it was in Mandarin Chinese. This single statement had a profound effect on me- Indeed, this metaphor spoke to me, and I realized that my lasagna wasn’t sparkly. In fact, I often burnt the lasagna. I’m not sure what he ment, but I think it has something to do with the fact that everyone took life too seriously, and that those who took life lightly truly enjoyed life. Or it could be something about cooking, now that you mention it. But to this day I strive to make people happy through humor- even if no one gets it- and I want to spread that and let people escape for one small moment from their hectic lives.
