Firstly, I'd like to take a minute and thank our host and sponsor, Futurepoint Web Solutions. On February 1, the Starsiege:2845 team released their prealpha demo movie and within a couple of hours their server was hammered so hard, the DNS wouldn't resolve. So, as soon as I got home from work I uploaded the movie to the Junkyard and set up a mirror.

Unfortunately, I had to take down the mirror last night due to the almost 50GB worth of bandwidth it ate up in the three day span. During that time, I was informed by a bunch of you that you enjoyed 300kb/s+ download rates (even at peak hours). Once again, this could not be possible without the fat pipes of Futurepoint.

Secondly, you may have noticed the support links in the top right-hand corner of the 'Yard. As we are a non-profit site, all costs incurred through the Junkyard must come out of the Staff's pocket. In order to help offset this, in the past we've asked for donations - again, all "revenue" made goes right back into the site and into things like prizes for you.
